My priorities for the past two months have been rest, relaxation and healing. Now that my vision is back to 100 percent and my doctor has cleared me, I have to get back to my other priorities, one of which is exercise. 

I tried my hardest tonight. I raced home from work, walked the dogs, and headed out. I went to my apartment complex’s gym for Soweto Jive, a Zumba-esque dance class. I showed up. A bunch of women showed up. Ten minutes past, no instructor, no music. Thirty minutes pass, no instructor has arrived. 

I get up to leave, but not before connecting with two women. I heard them talking and made an effort to jump out of my comfort zone and ask a question. I got the number for a stylist and a photographer, the two things I needed to start my makeover and new launch process. 

I scheduled my priorities; although the priorities didn’t happen, I met up with coincidence and fate.
