BlogHer NaPoBloMo 2013 Prompt: Favorite Hour of Day

Maze featuring Frankie Beverly sang about the golden hour of the day.

Side note: Frankie Beverly is the human definition of old man fine. So is Herm Edwards, but that is another post for another day.
The magic hour is the start of the sun rising, the weak sunlight that tells us that dawn is approaching.
I love the dawn. It’s like the universe is breaking open an egg over the sky. For many years, I have woken up in the dark of the morning to write, read, and sadly check email. When I start to see natural light filter through my bedroom blinds, I know that the day has to start. It feels like a new beginning every day.
And that’s my favorite time of the day.

I am an oil-and-water combination of humor, ambition, laziness, insecurity, certainty, procrastination, and drive. I am an aspiring romance novelist who writes by the seat of her pants. Waging and sometimes winning a daily battle with procrastination, plots, characters, and the day job.
